About Jesse Allen-Dicker, Ph.D.
I provide in-person and virtual psychotherapy and psychiatric assessments to adolescents and adults of all ages. I pride myself on taking a patient-centered approach, utilizing and/or integrating research-backed practices and molding them to the unique needs of each individual patient with whom I work. I strive to understand my patients, so that I can help my patients, and I rely on warmth, respect, and years of clinical training and practice to facilitate this process. In treating individuals, I primarily use approaches from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP; a form of CBT).
Please note that I practices at the NewYork-Presbyterian location at 240 East 69th Street (and 2nd Avenue), New York, NY 10065, though I do not practice through the Collaborative Care Center.
In addition to treating patients in the state of New York, I am licensed to treat patients in the state of Michigan (via video) and am registered to provide telehealth services to patients located in the state of Florida.
